Sweet Peas

The Sweet Pea is among the top 5 wedding flowers. Sweet pea means "delicate pleasures," though it is truly a hardy flower. Its blooms are airy and light, even in a large bouquet. This makes it the perfect flower for a summer wedding or any romantic event. Sweet peas bloom in the early Spring and come in shades of red, pink, purple, and white. They are available most of the year but are fairly expensive. Brides looking for anything from bright to pastel color pallettes will be enchanted by sweet pea blooms!

Personally, I'm not a big fan of cake. Brides sometimes feel the same way, or maybe just want to avoid the costly decision of which cake and how much will feed the entire guest list. Dessert bars can be a great way to alleviate wedding cake stress!

Chocolates, cupcakes, brownies, candies, and cookies are great fillers for your wedding's dessert bar. They can be conversation pieces for guests, or can be custom designed for a personal flair. Keep in mind that chocolates and candies, along with some other desserts, may need to be refrigerated until immediately before the reception begins. Be sure that your location has an onsite kitchen or staff who can set up your dessert bar!
